Wright Denny Class Studies Stream Life at Cool Spring Preserve

Mrs Trembas Trout Stream Class          Fish Eggs found in the stream

Mrs. Tremba's Class from Wright Denny Intermediate school ventured out on an educational field trip to Potomac Valley Audubon Society - Cool Spring Preserve. You can find out more information about the preserve at http://www.potomacaudubon.org/Cool-Spring-Preserve.

This was a hands on science educational trip that the students thoroughly enjoyed. They had the opportunity to catch and classify live macro invertebrate in Big Bullskin Run. They learned how to test water to see if it is safe for fish.

This trip helped build upon their on going experiment Trout in the Classroom. Paula Tremba's science class raises and releases trout every year. For more information about this project go to: http://www.troutintheclassroom.org/
