Children's Home Society of West Virginia (CHS) is a comprehensive child welfare,
behavioral health, social casework, and
advocacy network. CHS serves nearly 7,000 children each year from
12 primary locations throughout the state. Among
current
CHS programs are adoption, foster care, and emergency shelter care. Services also include respite, mediation,
parent education training, prenatal and early childhood services as well as school based social work. Jefferson County Schools partners with CHS to provide clinical social work services in some of our schools. Please contact a school counselor for more information.
