PSAT Testing Information

New for 2019-20 School Year:  All Enrolled Jefferson County Schools 10th graders will take PSAT/NMSQT Assessment free of charge

All enrolled 10th graders will take the PSAT/NMSQT assessment on October 16, 2019 free of charge.

The PSAT allows you to practice taking a test very similar to the SAT, under real test conditions. It can give you an estimate of the score you'd get on the SAT, and you can also look at the section scores and subscores to see which areas you should study the most in the future.

If you are an enrolled 11th grader Jefferson High School and would like to take the PSAT/NMSQT for the National Merit Scholarship, please email Ms. Dehaven at brittany.dehaven@k12.wv.us before noon on Friday, September 13, 2019.  The cost is $17 to take the PSAT on October 16, 2019.

If you are an enrolled 11th grader at Washington High School and would like to take the PSAT/NMSQT for the National Merit Scholarship, please see Ms. Mindyas at Washington High before school and prior to first period classes starting.  The cost is $17 to take the PSAT on October 16, 2019.

You must contact them no later than noon on Friday, September 13, 2019.

Additional school information will be given to students as test day approaches.
