CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. -- Jefferson County Schools will hold their Annual County Social Studies Fair on Saturday, December 2, at Harpers Ferry Middle School.
The fair had been scheduled for Nov. 17, 2018 but was postponed after an early snow cancelled school for two consecutive days that week.
The fair will showcase projects prepared by public, private, or home school middle or high school students in Jefferson County.  Students were instructed to enter a social studies fair project in one county only.
According to Brian Mulligan, Social Studies Fair Coordinator, “The Social Studies Fair is an exciting opportunity for students to explore and learn about a subject of their choosing.  They get to learn the fine details about the topic and gain valuable experience presenting to our panel of judges.”
The event begins at 8:30 a.m.  The winners will be announced at a future time.
