for Monday, May 21
Schools effected: Shepherdstown Elementary, Shepherdstown Middle, Jefferson High School, Blue Ridge Campus, Harpers Ferry Middle, and Washington High School
Jefferson County has several roads that are still experiencing high water conditions that will require alternate bus routes for Monday, May 21, 2018. The Transportation Department has been working hard to identify all of these high water areas. Parents of students in these areas may choose alternate routes or stops or will be granted an excused absence for Monday. Thank you for your patience as drivers work with traffic delays in order to accommodate all students. The My Stop app is available for parents to use to estimate their child's buses time of arrival.
The following are a list of roads along Jefferson County bus routes that buses will not travel:
River Road in Shepherdstown
We expect the waters to recede soon and then we will be able to resume normal bus service along these roads. If you are unsure of the status of your child's bus, please call the Transportation Department at 304 725-7664.
