JCS Internet Hot Spots

Jefferson County Schools recognizes the ongoing challenge educating students at home presents for families. This can be even more complicated in areas where access to high-speed internet is limited. As part of our comprehensive array of services to meet the needs of students, we have created expanded internet "hot spots" using the school system's secure networks at both Washington High School and Jefferson High School. Areas of the parking lot at each school will be available to students and families to visit throughout the day to access the internet so they may review, complete, download, and turn in new assignments.  JCS buildings will NOT be open and all internet services will be accessible from your vehicle in the parking lot between the hours of 8am and 7pm.  Please be advised that all CDC guidelines for social distancing and Jefferson County Health Department safety protocols remain in place while on school grounds.
JCS greatly appreciates our local law enforcement who will be conducting periodic patrols of the hot spots.
