Jefferson County Schools has released its new mobile application for use with the Android and Apple operating systems. The free app, now available for download on iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon, provides information surrounding the daily operations of Jefferson County Schools.
The app lists the scheduled events on the District Calendar, provides directory information for the schools, as well as information about our Board of Education. In addition, parents and students can view the Breakfast and Lunch Menus, Bell Schedules, Bus Delays Notification, and the current status on our schools regarding Closings/Delays/Early Dismissals. The App also provides a way to login to LiveGrades, the electronic gradebook that is used at all schools in the district.
“We created this app as a way to provide useful information and updates in one easy-to-use to package that will serve our community in a format that is relevant for today’s hurried lifestyle,” said Paul Hercules, Director of Technology for Jefferson County Schools. “The Jefferson County Schools mobile app is a great source for information and serves as a quick reference guide for our students and parents. Jefferson County Schools – yes, there is an App for that.”
