AP Exam Registration
AP Exam Registration for this May has begun for students currently enrolled in an AP class. Registration materials were distributed by AP teachers on Wed 2/15. Students taking multiple AP classes will only need to submit ONE registration form for all exams you plan to take. The cost is $46 per exam this year.
Registration forms with final payment are due by 3pm on Friday, March 24th to the School Counseling Office either to Ms. Jubb or Mrs. DeLauney. Do NOT submit registration materials/payment to an office assistant or place in a mailbox - we want to ensure your registration materials/payment are not misplaced or misdirected. Payment is to be submitted by check or money order only; made payable to Jefferson High School. No cash will be accepted! Registration submitted after the deadline may result in a $55 late fee assessed by the CollegeBoard. If you have questions, see Ms. Jubb in guidance for details.
We are pleased to announce the return of peer tutoring offered by the National Honor Society!
Students are encouraged to use the electronic Google form for their tutoring requests. Paper copies of the forms are available upon request in A17, Ms. Bowers’ room, or A13, Ms. Biller’s room.
After school tutoring with teachers is also available. Students should contact their school counselor or Mr. Coleman to request after school tutoring.
School Tardy Policy
A new school-wide tardy policy went into effect with the start of the new semester Jan 3rd. The policy is the product of a work group of representatives based on feedback from faculty and staff. Class meetings were held to review the expectations of the policy with students, which includes a set of defined consequences, but also a positive reinforcement program highlighting our students who are succeeding in coming to class on time and having good attendance.
