History:
Jefferson High School was established in the fall of 1972 after a consolidation of three county high schools (Charles Town, Harpers Ferry, and Shepherdstown). Jefferson High School houses 1325 students grades 9 - 12. Jefferson High School's mascot is the cougar, and our colors are maroon and gold. We are currently operating on a 7-period day. The school offers a wide variety of courses as we continue to strive for excellence as we prepare our students for life-long learning"
