Red Ribbon Week, October 27-31, 2014
October is National Bullying Prevention Month
(Celebrated together at CTMS October 27-31: CTMS Daily Activities- During 1st period stickers, ribbons, etc., are distributed. Ribbons and stickers may go on binders or as students choose.
National Theme: Love Yourself, Be Drug Free (hallway banner)
MONDAY October 27: Decoration Day – Red tissue/construction/whatever paper, drawings, poster board for your door to highlight the message. Ribbons distributed, “I Don’t Have An App for That.”
TUESDAY October 28: Dress Up Day - Students bring a copy of their baby picture (because they are “born to be drug free”) to post on the door or a spot you choose. Staff please bring a baby picture for a main hallway display. Handout “My future is bright” stickers.
WEDNESDAY October 29: Self-Esteem Day - Wear jeans. – Handout “I’m a Jean-ius” stickers” and the “Pawsitively Drug Free” charms.
THURSDAY October 30: Take a Stand Day, Living free is no Sweat! – Wear camouflage or black or sweats. Handout “Shade out drugs” sticker.
FRIDAY October 31: Speak Out Day – Wear sneakers to stomp out drugs. Handout “Stomp Out Drugs” and “I pledge to be drug free” stickers.
