Thanks to the efforts of Brian Ward of TriState Exxon at Harpers Ferry, Blue Ridge Elementary has been awarded a $500ExxonMobil Educational Alliance grant for the Math/Science program. The money will be used toward getting the WVFarm Bureau mobile science trailer in the spring of next year. The ExxonMobil Educational Alliance programis designed to provide Exxon retailers like Brian Ward with an opportunity to invest in the future of their communities through educational grants toneighborhood schools. The students really enjoy this!
Per WV Code §18-5-45, the following changes have been made to the 2012-2013 School Calendar.
· June 3 - regular Instructional day of school for students
· June 4 - regular Instructional day of school for students
· June 5 - regular Instructional day of school for students
· June 6 - regular Instructional day of school for students
· June 10 - IS day
