  • The WV Farm Bureau will be bringing
    the Mobile Agriculture Education
Science Lab to our school the week of
September 15-19, 2014! We are excited to
have the opportunity to visit this
self-contained lab that is equipped with multiple
research stations.  Our students will be
    performing experiments and learning
about healthy lifestyle choices as well
as examining and comparing natural and
    man-made super-absorbent products.

  •   A huge THANK YOU to our friend
    Lorraine who organized a wonderful
    group of 50+ teenagers from
Teen Serve Camp in Leesburg, VA.  They
    offered community service by cleaning,
organizing and building picnic tables, benches,
and raised garden beds.  Lorraine also
organized a free clothing giveaway and
free haircuts, as well as donating book bags,
    new shoes, and school supplies.
    Pictures of the gang!

We have a new addition in our office...our Giving Tree!
When you visit the school, please stop by and pick a
penquin or an owl ornament listing an item a
teacher would love for his/her classroom.  Then drop
it off at the school (or send it with your child) and we
    will distribute it for you!
Your donation makes our roots grow deep and we very
    much appreciate your generous, "giving"
